DJ is amazing. He mounted my new tires, changed out my old chain for a new one, did a once over to make sure the Ninja was mechanically sound, all with a smile... Thanks DJ I look forward to stopping by for more work.

Another satisfied customer review:
I recently purchased a 05 SV650 New San Jose shop - DJ Cycles (6)arty and wanted to get an overall safety inspection. I was browsing (lurking) through the forum for local mechanic recommendations and came across Dave's post. The responses seemed favorable so I gave him a call. He was even able to have a look at my bike that same day (a Saturday no less).
Dave was very personable and was willing to walk me through all of the what to check and why & how to adjust if necessary stuff. He also answered all the other numerous n00b questions I threw at him. I left there knowing that the bike was mechanically safe and everything was adjusted properly, and will also have the know-how to check & adjust some of the things myself in the future.

Thanks again Dave!New San Jose shop - DJ Cycles (7)

To all interested,

BARF has strict guidelines on both advertising and the sponsorship program. Even sponsors have to observe certain elements regarding their posts. From the feedback in this thread, we certainly wish well to the OP and his new adventure. However, to give due respect to our sponsors, this thread is moved to the Employment section.

Dave, welcome to BARF, and good luck with your shop. We hope to have you as a sponsor when you are ready.

Are you comfortable with patching tires? I have a screw near the center of my rear. The tire is barely a year old New San Jose shop - DJ Cycles (12)

Dave, just saw the shop on yelp and decided to search the old stomping grounds for reviews on your shop. I'll probably give you a call next week to see if you could help bring my bike out of retirement. Been out of riding the last 8-9 years b/c of school and work, and the bike was sitting in a garage for the majority of that time.

Got it started after battery and oil change and rode it around the block a few time, but want to get it checked out and serviced. Talk to you soon.

Can't believe how much the board has grown.

Dave is awesome.

Noticed my rear was flat two days ago, and he was able to mount a new one on for me in super quick fashion yesterday at a great rate. w00t

I just wanted to post another positive review of DJ cycles. Not only is Dave a nice guy, he is prompt, informative and professional. He also has very reasonable prices. I just had the valves adjusted on my Z1000 and the bike runs great now. New San Jose shop - DJ Cycles (14) I am glad to find a good mechanic in my neighborhood and I highly recommend his service to my fellow barfers.

Thanks again, Dave!

Here's another "yea" for you and your business. Thanks again for helping me out with the Ducati today.

To anyone interested; don't hesitate to give Dave a visit. He is honest, helpful, skilled, professional, friendly and insanely fair in his pricing (especially considering the level of personal touch and engagement you get).

I'll see you again soon, Dave.
