The University pf Puerto Rico is a relatively easy uni to navigate. People, staff, and professors are generally very nice. The campus is always pretty windy so the heat isnt too big of a problem. My one concern is the instability of the campus itself in terms of electricity and water supply. Example; last year a hurricane came by and didn’t really destroy anything, rather closed the university for two or three weeks causing our studies to be postponed. Normally, a situation like this could be solved in less than a week.

My experience at the University of Puerto Rico- Rio Piedras Campus has been an amazing adventure. This campus has become my second home and a place where I’ve had the chance to learn and grow immensely while feeling welcomed and free. I love how every faculty has its own personality. I study psychology and most of my professors have been very passionate people and I’ve learned a lot. I would say the only downside of this University is the infrastructure problems that are not being fixed and that affects the students negatively, specially the classrooms and the sports complex.

The University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras provides students with qualified and highly knowledgeable professors, along with engaging classes that form a great foundation for personal growth and education. However, more and more courses are being closed, meaning students are unable to enjoy classes that were previously given. I would like to see efforts to bring back these courses by hiring competent professors, especially in Humanities. Regardless, it is both the most affordable and most extensive education available in Puerto Rico.
