My partner and I are looking for somewhere to rent to place our camper while we gear up to buy. We're pretty open to various possibilities. I am looking into traditional campgrounds (and would be thankful for any recommendations you may have), but we are absolutely very open to alternative situations as well.We need few of the amenities of a campground. We are open to a variety of possibilities, and do not *require* the ability to bring our little farm with us, but one thing we can discuss, if you happen to have a larger chunk of unused land, is us helping you getting your land farmland assessed. We make enough sales of qualifying items (mostly sheep) every year that wherever we are, we qualify. For those who don't know, this program helps keep the "garden" in Garden State... it drastically reduces property taxes for farmed acres. There are a few stipulations, and to make this work, we'd need to be on at least 5 farmable acres. We're very open to discussions about what this could look like.We strive to be good stewards of the earth, and we also feel strongly that people should know where their food and clothing come from. Our flock has been a part of educational programs on these topics, and we are passionate about continuing this work and helping keep the garden in Garden State. My favorite campground (in upstate NY) has a small petting zoo set up and it is a well-loved attraction. We have stayed at campgrounds that have ideal set ups for a similar program, and would also be open to this sort of arrangement. We would like to stay within ~1.5 hours of Edison, NJ, but have some flexibility here, too.Senior Couple need to move before August 31st.We have franticly been looking and have not been about to find another place to live.We are in a real EMERGENCY situation now!We are looking for a one, or two bedroom apartment or even a cottage. We are a quiet couple, have no pets and are nonsmokers. We are looking in Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, North Yonkers.
