the seat did not recline and was very narrow. The flight leave Amman, Jordan at 2:40 a.m. I wasn't able to sleep at all.

This seating is same as coach except not one setting in middle seat. No additional leg room etc. NOT a true business class. NOT worth the upgrade cost.

Emergency exit row more legroom but you must know english or deutsch

Seat is in the middle between two windows

The seats are thinly padded, but sufficient for the short hop (GLA-FRA) I travelled in this aircraft. The flight was less than half full and I was the only person in my section. My seat was 25C, but I moved to 25A. I had no issues with this aircraft there was enough room for me (a little under 1.8m) the seat pocket was very small and can't hold much more than a passport.

As described: extra leg room and reclining seat.

It is true that it is exit row, but there is no extra room in that row. Additionally, you cannot have your laptop (or similar) with you. I was also next to the window and missing one armrest due to emergency exit design.

do not book business class. leg space is minimal. I made the mistake of paying 4x the price of an economy seat and after walking down the isle to an empty row , I found the leg space to be identical. if possible , try and book another airline as lufthansa is falsely marketing this as a business class seat while it in reality is just an overpriced economy seat.

Unfortunately I have to fly with Lufthansa regularly as they market as Business Class where as in reality is at best Premium Economy. Really Lufthansa should be taken to court as false marketing / advertising. They are cheaper than BA / Air France so my company goes to the cheapest, but really this is NOT anywhere close to Business Class. This is a JOKE if at all possible avoid.

Worst “business” class of any airline i have flown. Its a joke to call this business class. Lufthansa should be ashamed of themsekves, but management is probably laughing atbthose of us foolish enough to buy these crappy seats. Lufthansa is among the worst European airlines.

This seat is sold at premium dollars business class. The seat is 1/3 of the way into the aisle. You have to sit at an angle to avoid being hit by carts. Passengers from economy class use the business class toilet and stand over you or put their ass in your face while waiting for their turn.

Most boring thing I have ever sat in. No IFE and seats that do not recline. Although I had extra legroom the seats were very uncomfortable. I just hope Qatar airways never go down this route with their NEO 320's

Lufthansa's short-haul business class is really very sub-par. The only "advantage" is that they guarantee the middle seat is empty but otherwise the experience is pure economy class. The seat is narrow, uncomfortable and barely reclines. The food was a small tray with limp cold food and they didn't even have real milk for the coffee.

I had a much better experience on this aircraft than most of those who have commented here. I was in the first row behind biz class, which was a standard economy seat. I'm 6'0 with long legs and the legroom was ample (at least 4" from my knees to the seat in front of me). The plane itself was brand new -- the "Neo" version of the A320. Seats were comfortable as well. I flew on another A320 Neo about a week later, sat further back in the plane, and my experience was similar. At least from my experience, Lufthansa has updated their economy product with these new aircraft.

When I was flying last year on the Lufthansa flight 096, there was no TV in any of the seats, but still, I liked the extra legroom in Business Class but there was still a blocked seat in the middle of each seat in Business Class. I think that the food was okay, but so far this airline is pleasant.

not the best comfort due to plane age

i'm a frequent traveller on lufthansa, and yes this cant be called a business class seat but according to my experience, i fly very often Business Class in Longhaul and when landed in FRA i have a connecting flight to Hamburg, since i live there, and the business class is there because when buying the ticket you cant select Business class and economy for the short or medium connecting flight and the other way round, so if you payed business class you have also business class in the other flights regardless if it is a long medium or short haul. I understand that for flights to IST or MAD for example are longer but what i say is that the idea of business class in shorthaul planes is more for the connecting people from or to other flights, mostly longhauls

Does not worth paying bussiness at all. Same legroom than economy. Four times pricey just for the privilege of early boarding and food with ceramic plates.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/01/05 for Seat Horrible

Flew on the business class on IST-FRA route (3 hours). The seat was very thin and cramped for a business class and for intra-european flight. I can't complain about the food as I was full from TK lounge. Also there is no IFE or maybe some shared TV's for us. Grade is 6/10.

They should be embarrassed calling this a business class seat. Frankly, calling this premium economy would be a stretch given the thin seat and minimal recline. I'm trying to imagine the person that pitched the idea - 'let's just use regular economy seats but leave the middle seat empty. Voila - business class!!' The food was actually quite good and the flight attendants were even better. Shame I'll avoid this airline at all costs because top of my list is actual comfort if I'm paying for business class.

Horrendous. I agree with others that Lufthansa should be ashamed. They called this a business class seat, which is insane. Over 4 hour flight, no entertainment, no amenities, and it was just an economy seat. An incredibly terrible service for a purported reputable airline. Have had better experience on budget airlines. Lufthansa, if you are listening, this is extraordinarily bad service. Zero stars.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/03/24 for Seat 4F

Fully agree with other comments.Awful seats, no movies or radio, not even a power or USB receptacle. Food was so bad I took a photo to send to LH office. I had better seats on budget airlines. To call this Business class is a joke and an insult to any traveller.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/02/23 for Seat 3A

This is without doubt, the worst "Business Class" seat I've ever had. There are much better seats in coach. To say I was disappointed is a wild understatement. The seats in business class have less room than the seats in coach on most every other flight (several hundred) in the past 10 years, including puddle jumpers! The staff and service were fantastic, but the seat positively sucked. If someone in front or back of you turns on their light, you inconveniently get to share! Nothing good to say about the actual Business Class seating at all. I have added this to my list of things to check during booking, and would rather add another several hours flight and layover time than ride this equipment again.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2014/12/28

The "Business Cabin" is a joke, just like the A321 product. The seat pitch is by far the worst I have flown for COACH, much less business. The seats are essentially rigid so the only benefit is not having someone in the middle. I have no idea why they even call this an upgraded cabin.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2014/11/27 for Seat 21F

The new thin seats are hard and uncomfortable. The recline is only a few centimeters, which means the recline is practically non-existent. The increased legroom provided by thinner seats has been consumed in full by adding additional seatrows! Even low-cost airlines offer more comfortable seats. A true ripoff!
